Regarding CSW and the Bitcoin Whitepaper Details
Yesterday both Bitcoin.org and Bitcoincore.org received allegations of copyright infringement of the Bitcoin whitepaper by lawyers representing Craig Steven Wright. In the letter, they claim that Craig owns the copyright in the paper, the name of Bitcoin, and the ownership of bitcoin.org. They also claim to be Satoshi Nakamoto, the fake creator of Bitcoin, and the first owner of bitcoin.org. Bitcoin.org and Bitcoincore.org have both been asked to pick up a white paper. We believe these claims are invalid, and refuse to do so.
Unfortunately, without consulting us, the developers of Bitcoin Core cracked down on white paper Bitcoin at bitcoincore.org, in response to the allegations of copyright infringement, lending these false claims. The Bitcoin Core website was modified to remove the white paper references, their local copy of the whitepaper PDF was removed, and less than two hours after the public review, the change was compiled. With this commitment, the Bitcoin Core project handed over the reins of Bitcoin to the enemy, committed itself to self-preservation, and undermined its integrity. This commitment will no doubt be a weapon to make new false claims, as the developers of Bitcoin Core “know” CSW to be Satoshi Nakamoto and that is why they have acted in this way.

Bitcoin's white paper was included in the files of the original Bitcoin project and the project was clearly published under Satoshi Nakamoto's MIT license. We believe there is no doubt that we have the legal right to handle the white paper Bitcoin. In addition, Satoshi Nakamoto has the keys to a well-known PGP community, so it is possible that someone could prove himself to be Satoshi Nakamoto. Unfortunately, Craig was unable to do this.
We will continue to handle Bitcoin white paper and will not be silenced or intimidated. Some whitepaper holders should follow our lead in counteracting these false allegations.
